We bet there are no Koreans who have not had plum extract juice for stomach problems when they were a child.

Plums have been used not only as food but also as a remedy since ancient times. They contain organic acids along with minerals and vitamins, so they have excellent detoxification effects and help with digestion.

In the Joseon Dynasty, every summer the king gifted plum tea called Jehotang to his servants.

Because of this, plums have been nicknamed the “green remedy for summer.”
